About Sibiu.info
What it is
Sibiu.info is a short guide to Sibiu County, Romania. For each town we pick five places to stay, five to eat and five to see.
How we choose
Every place is checked: it exists, it is open and it is worth the trip. Each entry says in one line why we picked it.
Order matters. The first place in a category is the one we would recommend first to a friend.
What we don't do
We take no money to list a place and we don't sell positions.
Towns
A town appears on the site only when it has good places in all three categories. We started small and add towns as we check them.
Sponsors
The guide is supported by a few sponsors. They appear in a separate space marked “Sponsor” and have nothing to do with the lists.
We don't accept places from the guide, or their direct competitors, as sponsors, so the recommendations stay ours.

Why only five?
- Five helps you choose.A list of 40 restaurants leaves the searching to you. Five means we already chose.
- Every place has a reason. Each entry says in one line why it made the list.
- Different places, not clones. We pick places that are not alike, so everyone finds what suits them.
- The list changes, it doesn't grow. When a place comes in, another goes out. We review the selection regularly.
